I’ll preface this review by saying that I HATE going to the dentist with the fire of a thousand suns. And I know lots of people do. But if you took all their collective hate and balled it into one, then you have the depth of my absolute hate of going to the dentist. So basically, I’d rather do anything else than go to the dentist. I have to get numb just for a cleaning (preferably so I don’t feel my face). Needless to say, I don’t go regularly, and apparently that’s not good. I do practice good oral hygiene but that’s not enough, especially as you get older (I’m 61). Finally, I broke down and went to Polin Dental on the recommendation of several colleagues. My first appointment was for an assessment (x-rays and to figure out what was going on). After hearing better news than I expected (all my teeth are not, in fact, imminently gonna fall out), they convinced me to go ahead and get a basic cleaning since I was there. So I pulled up my granny panties, laid there like I had rigor mortis clenching every muscle in my body, let them numb me, and I got a basic cleaning (which wound up helping a lot more than I thought it would, especially my ‘angry’ gums). Then I went back today 8/20/2024 for the first of a 2 quadrant deep scale (my hygienist is the lovely and incredibly patient Vicky). I was less anxious today but was still clenching and I have nail marks in my hands from balling my fists so hard. The fact that I went back, and am going back AGAIN in a few weeks for the other quadrant deep scale, is in itself a testament to their practice (and Vicky). From your very first call, to the moment you walk out the door after your visit, the care and professionalism exhibited by every member of the staff is top notch first class – a masterclass in how to treat a patient (who is also a customer). They are patient, kind, humorous and extremely understanding especially of us grown up babies who just DON’T WANNA!!! If you are anxious or afraid or have had a bad experience in the past, or you simply just don’t wanna, trust me, do yourself and your teeth a favor and make an appointment. Otherwise, your teeth might fall out (jk).

I recently moved to Boca Raton, Florida and found Polin Dental (Dr. Carly) on my insurance provider’s website and I am so glad I did!!! The entire staff is incredibly friendly. My first appointment was a standard cleaning and exam. The hygienist and Dr. Carly were so friendly, accommodating, and caring. I have since been back 5+ times as I chose to get Invisalign (braces) which Polin Dental also provides! I feel like my treatment is worth every penny. The whole staff recognizes me when I arrive for my appointments. The office is close to my job and I often have early morning or mid-day (lunch) appointments. I am always immediately brought back after I arrive (very punctual and considerate of peoples time). I cant say enough good thing about this practice. I recommend my friends and family every chance I get!

I recently brought my Mom, over whom I am VERY protective, to see Dr. M. Polin at the recommendation of her oral surgeon.We love & respect this oral surgeon - so, his word is the word of G-d. That said, I cannot be more grateful for the compassion, empathy and efficiency with which my Mom has been treated in the office - Angela, Laura, Barbie & Julie - all have treated Mom with a special level of sensitivity and respect that I would otherwise be remiss if I did not acknowledge - with gratitude. As the situation, and her pain, unfortunately is still in the midst of being resolved, they are attentive and responsive with each call; consulting with the physician and bringing her in to be seen as needed. My Mother's has suffered considerably for many years with dental issues; not at all attributed to her neglect; rather, circumstances & at the hands of those whose level of competence was shameful. Dr. M. Polin has demonstrated extraordinary skill and professionalism. With his calming demeanor he has been treating Mom with his very light hand. Cognizant of her history, and with his seasoned expertise we are looking forward to final resolution soon. Most important, we are confident that Dr. Polin will get her there.

I've had an extreme fear of the dentist for almost 40 years. A good friend of mine recommended that I make an appointment to see Dr. Carly Polin. I took her advice and my experience was far from fearful. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Carly's work was top notch. I did not experience any pain whatsoever; and I now have an amazingly beautiful crown. The overall experience was very pleasant. About a month later my husband woke up with unbearable pain in his jaw and when I called Dr. Polin they made arrangements to see him right away. He too is amazed that he has no pain. We are both amazed and grateful for Polin Dental Group and will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends and family.

The last time I was at a dentist was about 2 years ago and within a year I moved over to the South Florida region, I desperately needed to find a dentist and the reviews here were great. Everyone was really nice, the dentist made sure I was very comfortable, and my appointment that was scheduled for 7:30 was on time! One of my biggest pet-peeves are businesses that try to up sell every service, but after 2 years without any dental work I went in expecting the worst and come out only paying exactly what they quoted me over the phone. They did not once try to up sell me on anything!!! Overall I enjoyed my visit there and I will definitely be going back.
